BIRMINGHAM SPECIAL AWARD WINNERS
Overcame significant hardship following an SG they worked with the Pastoral Manager, Learning Support Manager and Centre Manager and now live independently. For siblings of such a young age, they have shown resilience with a focus to achieve and be successful.
For creating a supportive network amongst her peers throughout the first and second year. She actually helps and holds study sessions for herself and her peers and there are students who wouldn't have made it through the course if it wasn't for her.
Meg is the longest serving placement of the year, dedicated, professional and producing her own work. Now secured paid employment with the business.
BIRMINGHAM MUSIC AWARDS
As a band Tar-Gits put on an excellent live show and their music is both technical and original. They have strong stage presence and have the basis of building some solid marketing. They actively play out in the scene performing for promoters around Birmingham and further afield.
Alisha is a professional and confident singer who has brilliant stage presence and looks the part. She manages her own marketing and branding and knows the audience that she is trying to reach with her music. She actively gigs in and around Birmingham on various stages.
Beyonce actively seeks out opportunities for her to grow. She has an excellent knowledge of music software and works well against briefs, such as putting music to games and short films.
Formed in college, Funky Motive have worked hard to record and release their single Rose Tinted Rhythm. The song is original and is a good collaboration between staff and students.
George has worked hard in the studio recording bands. He is an experienced studio producer who actively seeks out work inside and outside of college.
BIRMINGHAM GAMES AWARDS
Aysheq has produced an interactive game to a professional level and he has been nominated once again for a Young BAFTA award. As a student he is an ambassador and is flying with his work.

BIRMINGHAM MEDIA AWARDS
A social realist art documentary on the beauty of prayer within Islamic culture. A focused look at what the impressions of Islam, faith and prayer means to others.
Amaan has presented an artistic and personal documentary film which he has executed brilliantly with the intentions of making his audience aware of Islamic practice and misconceptions.
A striking photographic typology which examines individual women's experience of freedom and oppression.
Exceptional animation work that shows professionalism and creativity. Asia has worked independently to build her skills using industry standard sofware to produce beautifully crafted three dimesional models and an animation
BIRMINGHAM ESPORTS AWARD
All learners took part in a big esports event with ACC Sport earlier this year.
BIRMINGHAM EVENTS AWARD
The events students put together a successful International Women's Day event at The Night Owl on the 7th March. This was lead by Ella Brook and was a collaboration between the events, sound engineering, vocal artist and music performance courses. Ella took an active role in the organisation of this event and she did her job well on the day. The event overall was very successful with a good buzz from all the students.
BIRMINGHAM EDUCATION AWARDS
Oscar is professional and shows resilience and great future within the events industry. He along with his friends Hayden and Jacob have created a company called OMPS and have taken part in every single event we have put on this year. They are able to work to their own initiative and fix issues quickly.

Emily is a go getter, any opportunity she could pick up since she has been a student she has. She has been a great ambassador for the college and has worked for the college at open days, schools and external events.
Perseverance, dedication to the course and overall progress.
Dean has a been a constant positive presence in the classroom, he has worked consistently hard while providing support to other learners.
Sage started the start of this year being consistently late and missing lessons and assignment deadlines, even receiving a stage 2 disciplinary and potentially failing the course. However since February, they have turned it all around; improving grades, attending all lessons, staying late and coming in on their days off. A different side has been seen and they have motivated themselves to be a better, resulting in a potential Distinction grade overall to end the year
